In an era of globalization and rapid technological advancements, the importance of soft skill competencies and employee capacity is increasingly recognized in enhancing training effectiveness, particularly in the healthcare sector. Previous research, including the work of Dimitrov, has highlighted the significance of developing emotional and interpersonal competencies as part of soft skills in improving individual performance. However, there is still a gap in understanding how non-technical aspects such as soft skill competencies and employee capacity influence their performance. Ballesteros-Sánchez et al., and Pant & Baroudi, have emphasized the importance of soft skill competencies in projects and organizations, but this gap often receives insufficient attention in the context of healthcare training and development.
